SHAKUNTALA DEVI MAHAVIDYALAYA is the Private higher Educational Group of Institutions run by KAVYA FOUNDATION SOCIETY , Petlawad established in 2009 . It has been serving the human society through organizing the medical camps for blood donation , detection of blood group , health check up for life style diseases ( as blood pressure and sugar ) , vision test along with provision of spectacles and gynecological resolution for teenagers by the team of highly qualified doctors from Ratlam , Jhabua and Vadodara in various schools , hospitals and colleges for last two decades. It's first MahavidyalNaya was established in 2021 at Thandla and then second one was established at Petlawad in 2026. The mother society for both MahavidyalNaya is affiliated to "DEVI AHILYA VISHWA VIDYALAYA" ( D.A.V.V. ) Indore. It is also affiliated to HIGHER EDUCATION SOCIETY , Bhopal. The college is registered under the All INDIA SURVEY on HIGHER EDUCATION with the AISHE Code C-66847. It offers B. Sc. in Science and Agriculture courses , associated with Various nursery in district and specially "KRISHI VIGYAN KENDRA" Jhabua. It also offers Bachelor of Arts ( B.A.) in computer and other stream such as Fashion designing, Beauty Parlour, Computer classes, English spoken classes and competitive exam preparation with free of charge as complimentary. It is located at a noise & pollution free environment with WI-FI campus spread over one acres of land with well equipped lab, library, smart classes and a large assembly hall . The MahavidyalNaya provides an Ideal climate for students a well round technologically environment with highly productive, professional & leaders in their respective fields.
